My name is John Taylor and I worked for Brookfield Viscometers (and more recently AMETEK Brookfield) for nearly 20 years as the UK only Northern area Onsite Service Engineer (Repair/Service/Calibration etc) so I know a thing or two about their great instrumentation! Great service begins and ends with experienced, knowledgeable and friendly professionals, which is why I put so much consideration into making this jump back in 2018 with Viscocal Ltd as the only UK Brookfield Engineering trained, hugely experienced and knowledgeable independent Viscometer Service - Repair & Calibration specialist. Our calibration and certificates are managed in accordance with our ISO/IEC 9001:2015 certificated management system awarded by Alcumus ISOQAR who are a UKAS accredited certification body.
All our calibrations are fully traceable to national standards by using UKAS certified oils and thermometers that are calibrated in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
After the service and calibration is completed by a factory / fully trained Brookfield Engineering viscometer engineer, all instrumentation will conform to the original manufacturer's (OEM) full operating specifications.
Please don't confuse our viscometer full service and calibration with that of other independents who offer no more than a calibration check at one point and time!
You will be issued with an Engineer's service report detailing all work carried out.
Certificates of Calibration/Inspection & Analysis will be emailed within 7 days of work taking place for full peace of mind.
